2006- Aaron leaves his job as a consultant to a Fortune 100 company, turns his family's basement into a laboratory, and continues working (full-time) on the nPower® PEG.
2007- Aaron establishes Tremont Electric, LLC and assembles a four member start-up team to commercialize the technology.
- The Company files the first patent application for the nPower® technology.
- An independent testing laboratory validates the nPower® PEG.
2008 - Tremont Electric moves from Aaron’s basement into its first office located in Tremont, Ohio.
- The Company receives the Northcoast Opportunities Fund from Cuyahoga County & Nortech to assist with product commercialization.
- Tremont Electric conducts a research study to help determine product demand and to obtain crucial feedback from potential nPower® PEG users.
- The four-member start-up team expands to seven, adding two engineers and a specialist in the consumer electronics industry to the team.
2009 - Tremont Electric unveils working prototypes of the nPower® PEG at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
- The Company identifies the product’s beta testers and begins testing the product with consumers.
- March 2009 – The nPower® technology is patented.
- Tremont Electric added two more people to its team who are specifically focused on the development of nPower® Wave Energy Converters.
